The Eurocup-4 Spanish Winter Championship faces last round of the season at Circuito de Navarra this weekend.
A total of 32 drivers will fight at the Navarre circuit with all three titles at stake. Second-year driver Thomas Strauven (98) arrives to Spanish soil with just a 5-point gap over former leader Jan Przyrowski (93) after an almost perfect weekend in Portugal.
All eyes will be on the battle between these two men, although names like Vivek Kanthan – best rookie – René Lammers, Nathan Tye, Ean Eyckmans, Noah Monteiro, or Reno Francot still have a mathematical chance of becoming champions before the first race of the weekend.
The series return to Navarra for the first time after the extensive alterations completed in November 2024 which are the most significant in the venue’s history, and have culminated in a much faster, more flowing layout with a completely new 650 metre extension including all-new Turns 11 to 14, as well as extensive resurfacing and a reprofiled Turn 6.
An action-packed weekend is ahead for teams and drivers in Navarra with a busy Friday including almost four hours of Test sessions.
Qualy 1 will take place on Saturday at 10:00h local to meet the first Polesitter of the weekend. Race 1 will take place at 12:30h local with the Sprint Race ready to go at 15:20h local
Sunday action will comprise Qualy 2 at 09:00h local and Race 2 of both series with Eurocup-3 teams saying goodbye to this round at 12:55h local.
