MotorLand Aragón hosted the final round of the Spanish Winter Championship this weekend, where the titles in both Eurocup-4 and Eurocup-3 were decided after an action-packed programme featuring close racing, several key incidents and decisive post-race developments.

In Eurocup-4, the weekend began with Qualifying 1, where Nathan Tye returned to the top by securing pole position with a strong lap around the Alcañiz circuit. The session produced a tightly packed field, setting the stage for an intense battle in the opening race.

Race 1 delivered a thrilling fight for victory. Vivek Kanthan claimed his first win in the category after a close contest at the front, while Noah Monteiro finished second, a result that proved extremely valuable for the championship as he strengthened his position in the drivers’ standings heading into the remainder of the weekend.

The action continued with the Sprint Race, which featured a reversed grid and was ultimately neutralised by a safety car. Kasper Schormans held his ground near the front of the field and secured an important result, his first ever win in F4, that further strengthened his campaign in the rookies’ classification.

One of the decisive moments of the weekend came shortly afterwards when a series of post-race penalties reshuffled the classification, ultimately confirming Noah Monteiro as the Eurocup-4 Drivers’ Champion of the Spanish Winter Championship.

On Sunday, Qualifying 2 saw T-Code lock out the front row, with Petrovic and Tuñón setting the fastest laps to secure first and second on the grid for the final race. In Race 2Petrovic converted his pace into victory, closing the weekend with a dominant win.

The weekend was equally decisive in Eurocup-3, where the title battle reached its climax in Aragón. In Qualifying 1Keanu Al Azhari delivered a standout lap to secure pole position, putting himself in a strong position in the championship battle.

Race 1 produced one of the highlights of the weekend, with James Egozi taking victory after a spectacular duel with Al Azhari that kept the fight alive heading into the following races.

The decisive moment came in the Sprint Race, where Al Azhari’s third-place finish proved enough to secure the drivers’ title with one race still to run during the weekend.

On Sunday, Qualifying 2 saw Enzo Tarnvanichkul claim pole position in a closely contested session, setting up the final race of the championship. The Campos Racing driver then completed a strong performance by taking victory in Race 2, bringing the Eurocup-3 season to a close at MotorLand Aragón.

With the final results confirmed, Keanu Al Azhari secured the drivers’ crown, while Campos Racing wrapped up the teams’ title and René Lammers finished the season as the top rookie, concluding a highly competitive winter campaign.
